2015 BMW 328d Sedan Driving Impression
The automatic transmission 8-speed works great. Some riders prefer to engage with pallets, but most will just drive in and let it do its thing. We always appreciate the gearbox on the available petrol sedans; Power to the clutch pedal makes weight loss easy and the gear ratios are perfectly arranged on each engine. Gran Turismo 328D and the two Sportwagon models are only available with the automatic transmission. Handling is excellent for all versions of the sedan, and provide a good balance between ride comfort and agility. The 2015 BMW 320i sedan ($ 32,750) uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 that makes 180 hp and 200 lb-ft. Torque. But, if you do want greater fuel economy and four-season all-wheel-drive traction in an agile and fun-to-drive higher-end sedan (and not a sport-ute), the 328d bears a look (as would an Audi A3 2.0 TDI). A heated garage would be a decided plus, though.
